SNOW DAY!

What a crazy storm! It's the kind that makes you want to stay in and have a cozy, lazy day. And that is exactly the kind of day we had. 

(back up)

Last night, Nova was pretty upset. Daddy Drew to the rescue:

+Nova stared straight at her daddy the entire time he played and sang for her. All crying = forgotten. It's his secret weapon. I strongly recommend at least one half of a couple learning an instrument before having a child.

 This morning, we watched the snow and lazed a bit on the couch. Nova perfected her fist bump. 

We started reading aloud the most important and essential piece of fiction in history - Harry Potter, of course. She loves to listen to us talk or read, so it was fun. 

And then... drumroll... we took Nova out to see her first big snow. We got her all bundled up in her adorable (and warm!) bear suit from Auntie Morgan.
+Our expectation: Baby awe and amazement!
+Reality: I'm fairly certain that she hated it.

(Yeah, it's official. Not liking this.)

Poor baby! She was angry for quite a little while afterward - and we were outside for maybe 3 or 4 minutes, tops. 

After some good eats, she calmed down (whew).

And then I noticed...
baby boogers.

Why is it that baby boogers are absolutely NOT gross? I would never in a million years come pick your nose, but it's adorable and hilarious when I go poking around in Nova's nose. She doesn't mind it too much, either.

(...Don't worry, those who are easily queasy. There are no boogers shown in this video.)

It's been a pretty eventful day for this baby cakes.
