It Was a Happy Friday.

+Starting off the day with a very serious conversation with dad (notice too, the way she puts her hand up to her mouth - another milestone reached!).

The snow lingered - how could it not? We only got a foot and some change! We stayed inside in the warmth and watched Dad "shovel" our balcony with the newest technology in snow removal...

... a broom.

(I've got to hand it to him, though. It worked very well.)

+Even though Daddy Drew's birthday isn't until March the 20th, he got to open his present! Nova was just SO excited that she couldn't wait that long. Or maybe that was me? Either way - she helped us put it all together!

(Look, Mom, I hate to tell you, but I think that's upside down...)

+Later that day...

We had visitors: Aunt Jeri, Missy, and Grandma Deb! Grandma Deb still has a bum ankle (wishing you well!) but she managed to hobble up ALL of the steps to our apartment to see her grandbaby. That's dedication.

Everyone says that Nova looks just like her mommy. I found a picture of myself at 3 months, and I still have the baby quilt that I am sitting on in the picture (courtesy of the late Frances McDonald, Nova's great-great grandmother).
