Day In & Day Out

+Starting Right
I probably shouldn't encourage Nova to stick her tongue out at people... but she thinks it's hilarious when I do it. Which is too cute. Cuteness trumps appropriateness...for now. Plus, who else is that entertained by my comedic brand? That's right. No one. 

+More Snow
Though it's lovely, Nova is getting stir-crazy up in here. Or maybe I am? Watching the kids outside sled and play makes us so excited for next year! You know, when Nova doesn't wail when we go out in the snow. :)


Thankfully Daddy Drew keeps us forever entertained. He built this ... snowman. 

(Valiant effort, Drew! I'll give you an A since you made it sans gloves. Brr!)

(His eyes are Tums. Mom gets heartburn! His carrot nose fell out.)

+Rattle!

According to my What To Expect: The First Year book, by the end of her third month, Nova may be able to grasp a rattle or handtoy. 

 Way to go Nova!

+We busted out the Bumbo ^ again to shake, rattle, and roll, and then to enjoy the fire. 

(She just stares and stares at the flames!)

Nova loves having her hair brushed...

We love having Nova around. We think we'll keep her. :)
