+Good People
On Friday, Nana Renee came by in the morning, Grandma Deb stopped in for a visit, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Hannah made it over, and then Grandpa Barko rounded off the evening. Whew! Busy day for the babe!
(They're going to make good parents someday... just saying...)
Nova being bouncy:
Nova had a few cranky moments while they were over. They got to see the (only) downside of being a parent. It's not all ah-goos, smiles, and cuddles! Ok. It mostly is.
But still! :)
I captured Nova staring at her little toes... or as Grandma Deb calls them, "pigs."
She also likes to hold her arm up and thoroughly examine the pattern of whatever outfit she is wearing. Curious little kitten!

Haha! <3

+First Lunch Date
Grandma Renee, Aunt Holly (who will now be referred to as Aunt J), and Great-Grandma Jean took mom and Nova to lunch today.
A rare moment : DOUBLE AUNTIES!
We went to Panera. Nova slept most of the time, but after we ate she woke up and was amazed by the sounds and sights. She stared at every passerby and made hilarious faces. Mom got a little flustered and Nova cried a bit on the car ride home, but all in all, it was awesome! First outing to a restaurant: Conquered.
(Recognize this outfit, Aunt Michaela?)
+Final Funnies
At first, we thought it was a fluke, but it's happened two nights in a row now. Instead of trying to explain, we recreated the moment while Nova was awake.
This is how we put Nova to bed every night:
And this is how we keep finding her in the morning:
Upside down! Just call her 'wiggles.' We're thinking of installing a spy-cam to see the process. :)
And last, this is what we do when Daddy Drew falls asleep on the couch.
Happy weekend, all!
