What a busy few days this baby Nova has had! Lots of visitors and discoveries... never a dull moment over here. :)

+Big news! 
Nova has discovered her feet. I've kissed those little toes many a time, but on Sunday morning, when I pretended to eat her toes (which, by the way, is something strange that happens when you become a mom. You suddenly want to munch little toesies and fingers. It's not something you think about, you just do it. "I'm gonna eat dose widdle feet!") she smiled and cooed. She was in awe of the two chubby tiny feet at the end of her body. I believe she finally understood that they were a part of her. Now I keep catching her staring at them in amazement.

We've had a lovely slew of visitors:

Sarah and Dalton came over on Sunday - our only married friends (okay, cousins - we love em). They brought Nova the adorable soft rattles pictured above around her head. She's had a blast with them so far! Thanks guys :) Too cute. <3

Great-Grandma Jean and Great-Grandad Bob came over Monday morning - always a good visit. We love you guys!

And who doesn't like bath pictures? Nana Renee popped in after a big messy poo poo and bathed the babe (THANK YOU! haha):

That would be the KSU gift from Jeri and Missy - even as a Jayhawk I think she looks RIDICULOUSLY adorable. :)

Speaking of gifts, Grandpa Barko and Grandma Deb recently went to Florida. They brought her back a souvenir hoodie:

She loved it! So cute. <3

+Another Big Girl Moment

Nova is becoming more coordinated by the day. She progressed from accidentally occasionally swinging and hitting this little piggy that makes fun sounds to purposely jingling and enjoying it. Proud mama!
