It's been far too long...

Oh, hello there.
This girl is very sorry that it has been nearly a (eeek!) month since the last Nova post.
We're busy kids!

We've been constantly working on the house - which, in our personal opinion, looks fabulous!
Nova keeps us busy. All the time.
She is so silly and fun - and always on the move. Always.
She is quite a busy body, and a big talker!

Just a few updates before we get to the fun stuff....
Today marks our first full month in the new house. We love it. Nova has so much space to roam!

+New Nova things...
The babe can walk while holding onto just ONE of our hands - we are hoping/fearing that she will take off on her own any moment now. She crawls so fast that we call it "crunning" - or, at least, I do - the clever combination of both crawling and running, you see. :)
She says Mama and Dada, and knows who is who! She says ball, dog, book, and can pick out her "doggies" (a dog book), her star (a little starfish toy), her ball, her frog, and various other things when we ask her to.
If she is getting into something she shouldn't, Mom says, "Ah Ah!" and Nova says... "Ah AH!" back at me.
Sassy pants!
Nova waves, plays independently, eats all sorts of foods, she stands by herself, thinks screaming is hilarious, loves to play under the table (we call it her fort), watches the squirrels outside, climbs the stairs like a boss, loves to read her books, turns the pages all by herself, and at her last checkup, weighed 19 pounds and was 2' 4".

We just hosted our housewarming party yesterday, and it was a hit! Thank you to all who came, it was a wonderful time.

Daddy Drew and Grandpa Barko made the staircase safe for Nova! Before, they were open-backed and the handymen sawed, spraypainted, and secured the wood into the openings so Nova won't fall through. Thanks guys! Great work!
