Just a Peaceful Weekend

Happy Monday!

Nova had a very peaceful weekend with the family. 

+Friday we surprised Nana Renee at work with a visit, then took Nova on her first trip to Target!
She slept the whole time - but she was definitely there. :)

We had a quiet evening and then on...
+Saturday
Dad played Nova some tunes on his new mandolin.

this is Nova's new thing - throwing both arms out in excitement! ha

Later that day, Nana Renee came to pick Nova up for a sleepover!

They had a fun night while Mom and Dad each had some time to themselves and then spent the rest of the evening together. 

+Swinging 
Nova had fun swinging in the gorgeous weather with Nana Renee on Saturday...

And again on
+Sunday 
with Auntie Morgan!

Dad took Nova over to Grandma Deb and Grandpa Barko's for a visit.

+New
Nova now takes notice of animals - At Nana Renee's she watched the dogs and at the GrandScan's she stared at the kitties! 
*Hint, hint, Dad... time to get us a kitten!

We've got a crazy couple of months coming up:
+In April
Dad starts his new shift at work!
Grandma Deb, Grandpa Tim, Uncle Ry, Grandpa Barko, and Great-Great Aunt Martha ALL have birthdays!
This coming weekend, we are celebrating with Grandpa Tim on Saturday and Grandma Deb on Sunday. The following weekend, we are going to barbecue and play sand volleyball to celebrate Uncle Ry's. 

+In May
Aunt Holly, Nana Renee, and Auntie Morgan all have birthdays, and NovaBear will FINALLY meet her other Great-Grandma, Clarice, when she comes in town from Nebraska. 
Dad is going on a weekend trip to Chicago for his friend's bachelor party (Dad and Mom will attend the wedding in Wisconsin in June) - so it's going to be a GIRL's weekend here at home!
