Last time we left, Nova was napping. Right after I posted the blog, I went in to check on her...
and this is what I find.
+Wiggle Worm
She had wiggled her little legs and feet right through the snaps of her jams.
She is so wiggly these days! Diaper changes are becoming increasingly difficult -and hilarious. She tries to roll over as SOON as you lay her on her back, and wiggles and kicks those surprisingly strong legs all over the place.
You get one leg back in her pants, and as you are trying to maneuver the other kicking leg in, the first leg gets back out. So you finally get the second leg in, and go back to the first, and then the second is out again.
She will be crawling soon.
+Plaza
For Drew's birthday, Auntie Morgan got him a gift card to Urban Outfitters, and we finally made the trip to the Plaza with the babe.
It didn't go so well - a busy Plaza and a very busy store are not very baby friendly. But we got some good time in the nice weather and people-watched after!
Afterward, we went to visit Auntie Morgan. :)
It was Nova and Mom's first time going to her house!

+Party!
On Sunday, we all trekked out to Uncle Ry and Aunt Hannah's to celebrate Uncle Ry's birthday with Nana Nea, Poppy J, Grandpa Tim, Great Granny and Grandad, and Hannah's parents, friends, and Grammy.
It turned out to be a beautiful day!
Nova fell asleep on Great Granny:
And then again in her carseat:
So cute.
+Speaking of Birthdays...
Yesterday was Grandpa Barko's birthday! He was in Vegas all last week and just got in yesterday afternoon. Hopefully we will get to celebrate with him soon! We'll let him rest a bit first. :)
Happy Birthday Barko!
+Laughing
Please excuse the terrible quality of this video - it's hard to take it myself when we are playing. But the visual isn't really the important part - listen to these giggles. :)
Well, it's Nova nap time.
More fun to come.

Do you need me to send you dresses? She might just be anti-pants...I don't blame the little lady. Pants aren't always super comfy.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to see some French baby dresses.
