The Good Life

The last few days have been a bit quieter around here...
We've had visits from the grandmas AND some great-grandparents...
Got a few pieces of GREAT news!
And as always, been having a good time with the babe.

Daddy Drew plays guitar for Nova babe on the reg, and mom helps with the singing. I do believe that she is starting to understand what we're doing:

We've had an alarming bink shortage around here lately. When Nova first came home she had a ton of pacifiers hanging around. 

While she took a nap, I decided to go binky hunting. I didn't have to look very far.

I saw one peeking out from behind the crib. I couldn't reach it, so I pulled the crib out from the wall and found....

Nova is fascinated by glasses. I found an old pair of mine that had no lenses and naturally, put them on her.

+Growing Up So Fast

We've decided - based on Nova's ability to sit supported and her sudden interest in whatever I am eating - that it's time to let her try a little cereal. Usually babies start on it between 4 and 6 months. Nova will be 4 months in 2 weeks! It seems crazy. We are looking forward to her next doc appointment - this growing girl must weigh 50 pounds! Ok - not even close. But mom is definitely getting an arm workout. 

Anyways - first bites!
