Things have been VERY exciting around here this past weekend.
We had another day of good weather, and Nova debuted her adorable white
+Shorts.
(TOO cute to finally see those chub legs and feet out in the open air!)
+Big Girl
Nova actually sat up by herself for almost a full minute!
(It was a fluke - she hasn't done it since - but we can still be proud!)
We took a little trip to Lowe's to get a bird feeder and take Nova down the fan aisle. She loves looking at ceiling fans. Anywhere we go, she always finds her friend, the fan. :)
Nova in fan heaven! Ha
(A special thanks to Aunt J for the baby backpack that we have been using as a mini diaper bag on short trips:)
Any day we go out is a big day for the babe.
Tired out:
She loves having her legs free!
+Crinkling
I've posted a picture of Nov reading her book, but here's a video. It has crinkly pages and she is eternally entertained by these. :)
+More Tummy Time
She's getting so much better at tummy time! It doesn't make her nearly as angry as it used to. She can hold her head up so well!
+Sunflower SHOWDOWN!
As you may know, Mama is a KU alum and Daddy Drew is KSU. A house divided...
We decided to just keep Nova in neutrals and we each represented our schools for the Big 12 Championship game!
We went to watch the game at Great Granny Jean and Great Grandad Bob's with Nana Renee, Poppy J, Aunt Shelly, and Uncle Bobby.
Nov with Great-Uncle Bob... HA
CONGRATS JAYHAWKS!
(Mama is the victor!)
Another big day - Nova says no more pictures!
+St Patty's Day!
Nova got all dressed up in green!
Ok really, mom - no more pictures.
Mama (me) made a traditional Irish din-din for St. Patty's - corned beef and cabbage! Yum. Grandma Deb and Grandpa Mark and Nana Renee and Poppy J came over to chow down and hang out. :)

+Standing
This little babe is getting SO strong. She loves to be pulled to a standing position - she makes hilarious happy faces and holds all of her weight.
Observe!
BIG GIRL!!
+More Big Girl Stuff
She's going to be holding her bottle by herself before we know it:
+16 weeks!
So, a babe's age is a bit more complicated before they hit 1 year.
I've thus far been under the impression that 4 weeks = 1 month.
I've been wrong.
So, today, Nova is 16 weeks old!
She will be 4 months old on March the 26th.
Confusing!
Happy 16 weeks, my little baby.
<3
More fun to come.
