This lovely one entailed meeting new people, overcoming the overnight stay, and good friend and family time.
(Saturday)
Mary came in town this weekend! It's her last visit to Kansas before she makes the big leap to Paris, and her first time meeting the babe...FINALLY!
Later that day...
We overcame a GIANT obstacle of mommyhood - the first entire night that Nova has spent away from us. We had some much needed social fun, but it was hard to leave her.
Nana Renee and Poppy J baby-sat her overnight. We went to Barley's Brewhaus to watch the KU game and meet up with some friends - Brooke, Matt, Cory, and Nate.
Meanwhile, Nova was having a blast with her g-parents:

Back at Barley's, the boys caught up while the girls got some good time in:
And then we got...drumroll...
an entire night's sleep.
Nova was great at the g-parents, too.

(Sunday)
Woke up bright and early to go pick up the babe.
Nova was sure to leave her mark. She had an infamous poo "blowout" - gotta love it. Then, she peed on the g-parent's bed. Haha, it's really a good thing she's so adorable.
The GrandScans got back from Florida Saturday evening, and we got a visit from Grandpa Barko (Grandma Deb sprained her ankle in the night so she couldn't make it!)

And to finish off the weekend, we were graced by Mary's presence one last time... and Angel and Sarah, too. :)
Bon Voyage! WE LOVE YOU!

Andddd... it's bedtime.
